Japan has earthquakes regularly. So we always take precautions. It's not "another earthquake" because 2011 quake is not the first and the only big quake which struck Japan.

Haiti is a lost cause, it's one big ghetto, and will always be a ghetto.
Japan is already building more earthquake resistant buildings. Most of the damage in 3 / 11 was from the tsunami , not the quake. They probably could have picked a better location for the nuke plants though. That whole facility is toast, and beyond repair.
Not a whole lot you can do when a 9.0 quake hits.
"In case another quake strikes " ? It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.

Japan is probably the world leader in preparedness for earthquakes. If a 9.03 hit almost anywhere else it would be a lot worse. If London saw a 9.0 it would probably destroy the city whereas in Japan they build everything pretty much to help lessen earthquakes. A 9.03 anywhere no matter what you do will be devastating.
PS: If SUMSUNGKOREA chimes in it will be something about how Fukushima is the worst ever and Japan lies blah blah blah ignore her idiocy.
