Torn meniscus/mcl, what exercises should I do?

Hi:) normally I run for cross country and play a very high level of soccer every day. A week and a half ago I tore my mcl/meniscus. Now I can't run or even straighten my leg. How can I still exercise? My stomach is a little flabby and so arey inner quads if that helps... Thanks so much

I torn my ACL and meniscus and couldnt exercise properly until i had surgery and physiotherapy but i was given exercises to do to help get my leg stronger.

If its your stomach that you're worried about i'd say you're fine to still do things such as sit ups to help tone your stomach but i would highly recommend not over using your legs...

i ended up with surgery to have a hamstring graph and to stitch my cartilage... i exercised too early and split the stitches in my cartilage, i then ended up needing more surgery and they decided to remove the whole section of my cartilage and trust me you really dont want to be in this situations. it just makes your recovery so much harder. good luck getting better though

Hmm tough hindrance. However i would absolutely question that entire puppy day camp thing if this is what it's completed! Do not get mad at your dog for a start, of path she will probably be bored and begin enjoying up that is how annoying puppies can also be usually ;p may just sound stupid, however my animals love looking at a action film with flashing lights and many others on tv ;) try it out :) Lol

None, The muscle has to rest after a injury like that, your Doc. should have have ordered Physical Therapy to slowly heal the muscle if you continue to exercise the muscle u will make it worse maybe to the point of surgery, please don't do this. I hope this helps. Good Luck Rita
