Do any hunters only eat meat from the animals they hunt?

My uncle who is an electrician hunts for almost every season and they barely have to buy any meat and plus they have a small garden that supplies them with a lot of veggies all in all they save alot of money on food

That would be nice but most hunters have full time jobs that prevent them from hunting enough to have meat in the freezer year round.

Rather limited diet. Never want a Hamburger? Have a hot dog? Thanksgiving would be rather lame without a Butterball Turkey on the table.
