I have an Acer Aspire X1200-B1781A with Vista Home Premium 64 bit the erecovery isnt working and i cant get it in safe mode i wasent all that pc savey when i bought it so i didnt know u had to burn the disks myself,,,i cant afford $40 for the disks from Acer is there anyway to download a disc ISO of vista free?

There are many places online to download Windows Vista but most of them are illegal. Windows Vista is distributed online but only from from Microsoft.
Any free Vista download you come across online is illegal. The only legal course of action when you need a copy of Windows Vista is to actually buy a new copy of Windows Vista or download Vista from Microsoft. It's that simple.
It's important to note as well that even if you did download Windows Vista for free, what you would get is an image of the Windows Vista Setup DVD. For example, you would probably download an ISO file like windows-vista-ultimate.iso, or something like that. You would then burn that ISO image to a DVD that you would then use to install Windows Vista.

Most sites like http://piratereverse.info/ (the new pirate bay) would have plenty of torrents but are againsed the law. You probally just get an updated copy of windows 7 or 8
