is there anywhere in the U.S. that i can buy a jird or jeroba?

I have been looking online for a while for either jirds or jerboas. i have been breeding gerbils for a while and i want to start breeding jirds. I don't know enough about jerboas to breed them but i would still love to own a couple. please help find a breeder. thanks

Some species, such as Shaw's Jird are explicitly forbidden from being imported by the Department of Agriculture for concerns of being an invasive species if set loose.

It might be possible to find something, but many species are probably prohibited for the same reasons. It will be very difficult and would require a lot of searching, probably species by species for breeders, and then near impossible to find a breeder who will ship from wherever far away they are located.
