I'm also a stay at home mom with a 2.5 yr old and 6 month old needing to lose weight. So far I have lost 15 lbs. I love to eat lean cuisine meals. They are fast and low calorie. Also, I love to eat salads for lunch. I use the bagged lettuce and keep a container of chopped up veggies to throw on there. I top it with low cal dressing. Other days I like to have fruit and yogurt. Hope this helps.

You can earn money by doing surveys. I have been testing out survey sites for about a month now. And while they can be frustrating when the survey kicks you out because it is full, persistence is key.
In one month , I have earned and been paid out on $70 from surveys and I have another $35.00 I have yet to cash out through Paypal. opinionoutpost.com is my fav! So, roughly $100 in 1 month. Not great, but it is spare cash I am earning to help pay for Christmas. Plus they send you products to test out and I have earned gift cards for completing a study.
I also have been able to earn money through a recycle children's clothing website. Send your childrens gently worn clothes and they will pay you cash via paypal.
Craigslist is another great way to turn your unused things into cash.

Honestly, it depends on what the extra money is for?
Is the extra money to help support the bills? If so then most likely a stay at home job will not earn you enough.
If the extra money is just to help out a bit & for extras like going to a movie, eating out & things like that then you may be able to find a few things that will work for you.
I've stayed at home with my kids all their life. I've tried a number of things like selling Tupperware plus other things like that such as Discovery Toys or scrapbooking stuff. That did not work for me. I'm not the type who wants to sell to my friends. I hated encouraging them to have a party for me. I felt like I was asking them to host a party in their home just so I could make money. It was awful.
I have sold on eBay on & off for years. I lost a lot of money my first few years due to just learning and figuring things out. I have never made a lot of money doing this. I am just selling things we already have. Books, movies and stuff like that. Most of my sales earn my only like $4-5 an idea. It is enough to earn extras like going out to eat or a movie. Usually I only average around $30 a month or so. It takes a lot of work posting items. Plus like I said there at times is a loss of money. That happened this month since I didn't have time to post more things. I lost around $12-14. That may not sound like a lot but when every penny counts it is.
I know some people who have sold on Craigs List. Some moms use it like an online Yard Sale. They meet the buyers in a public place and collect the money all in cash. One friend put stuff on her front porch for pick up and collects money through Paypal. I honestly don't feel safe doing this.
My sister inlaws at times have kept kids in their home. One sister inlaw keeps her sister's daughter. It brings in a little income. Another friend keeps at 1-2 other kids at times. This too brings in money. This same sister inlaw recently started helping out elderly sisters. She helps them get supper going, starts laundry, helps with bathing on of the sicker sisters and helps them get ready for bed at night. She works from around 5-10pm a few nights a week. This brings in a little more income.
I would never use those Paid Online Survey sites. I've done a few and what gets frustrating for me is after a long 20mins I told "We are sorry you do not qualify for the survey". This happens a lot lately. A waste of 20mins and I earn NOTHING.
Do you use Amazon.com a lot? I have used what is called SwagBucks. Using their search bar daily often earns me $10 a month towards Amazon. You can earn other things too but I use it for Amazon. We do our Christmas shopping through the site plus I have a Kindle so I use it to buy books. If you do sign up please use this link - http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/faith4jesus
This is all I can think of you. Just need to do what works best for you. There is no get rich quick things out there.
