lost my voice, tips with talent show coming up?
My voice has been kind of scratchy because I just got over being sick. I have a talent show coming up in ten days and I'm singing for it. Any tips on how to get my voice back with still being able to practice singing?

Oh god. same happened to me.
The truth of the matter is it really would be best if you could not even speak until a couple of days before. And I would just practise your songs to go over them.
Throat lozengers, plenty of lemon juice with honey.
Also eating plenty of GREENS will help, think spinach, basil, coriander, kale, cabbage, watercress
Dont eat anything that will dry your mouth out. TOTALLY stay away from caffine, coffee/black tea/chocolate. Stay away from whey powder and dairy if you can do, if you cant it would be better to eat/drink goats or ewe milk instead of cow as it is lactose free and doesn't coat or bung you up the same dairy does. Alot of professional singers avoid dairy due to this.
Eggs are okay though or i have found them to be.
Rest. take vitamins, anything good for your overall immunity and the respiratory system.

at the starting up, relax and breath. Take a deep breath and exhale for thus long as you are able to. Your body's way of calming the nerves is via exhaling. related to dropping your voice - do not drink too a lot lemon and honey for too a lot of it must be undesirable too. in simple terms provide your voice a relax for a lengthy time period and that i'm positive via day after today you'd be better. With level fright in simple terms breath correct previously you carry out. solid success and acceptable desires! to procure this :)
