Here's mine:

C-Wayne Gretzky
RW-Jari Kurri
2nd FWD Line
LW-Bobby Hull
C-Mario Lemieux
RW-Brett Hull
3rd FWD Line
LW-Frank Mahovlich
C-Joe Sakic
RW-Mike Bossy
4 FWD Line
LW-Paul Kariya
C-Mike Modano
RW-Pavel Bure
1st DEF
D-Bobby Orr
D-Ray Borque
2nd DEF
D-Paul Coffey
D-Denis Potvin
3rd DEF
D-Nicklas Lidstrom
D-Larry Robinson
Starting Goalie-Vladislav Tretiak

I understand that 3rd and 4th lines arent really meant to be the scoring lines but what the heck. Remember this is my opinion. I took chemistry into factor especially with the first FWD line and the 2nd FWD line.

Line 1:Bobby Hull-Wayne Gretzky-Mike Bossy
Line 2: Luc Robitaille-Mario Lemieux-Gordie Howe
Line 3:Frank Mahovlic-Mark Messier-Maurice Richard
Line 4: Paul Kariya-Steve Yzerman-Jari Kurri
Defense:
1st pairing: Bobby Orr-Nicklas Lidstrom
2nd pairing:Ray Bourque-Doug Harvey
3rd pairing: Paul Coffey-Larry Robinson
Goalies:
1) Dominik Hasek
2) Patrick Roy
So, I'll start out with the first line and my reasoning. Bossy is arguably the pure best goal scorer in the league. If his back had not forced him to retire,he could be the leader in goals instead of The Great One.Then match those two fearsome goal scorers with the best left winger of all time, you've got quite a line. Then with Mario, well, you can't leave him out. Mr. Hockey is the greatest right winger of all time--or at least I think he is. He was a tough guy, and he wasn't afraid to drop the gloves. He could shoot the puck left or right handed. He had a tremendous passion for the game. Then, Luc. He's the 2nd greatest left winger of all time. He's got such great hands. Now, moving down to the third line. Messier was not only a great player, but he showed a lot of leadership as he has a trophy named after him. He also led his team to 6 Stanley Cups.Richard was talented, but I just like Bossy and Howe as top 2 right wingers.Frank, well, he was just a great player and is up there in the greatest left wingers. Now, the last and final line.Yzerman was a great player, and he also showed leadership leading the Wings to 3 Stanley Cups--two of which were back to back in '97 and '98.Kurri is a sniper and a great player overall, but every right winger I listed above is just better. Kariya certainly is a top 10 left winger of all-time. I was thinking of putting Bobby's son in there so they would have some chemistry, but putting him with Gretzky and Howe, I think was a better fit.
You can't argue with Orr. He's the greatest defenseman of all time, and you can't put anyone above him.He had good speed, great passing skills, great defensive ability, great all around defenseman Lidstrom was a 7-time Norris Trophy winner--one behind Orr. He was a great captain and a great player. He anticipates defensively the way Gretzky and Lemieux anticipated offensively.Potvin played the most traditional defensive game in the post Orr era. Ray is the all-time leader in goals, assists, and points. I just think Lidstrom is a better defenseman than Ray as to why I have Bourque on the 2nd pairing. With Harvey, he was not really a dominant offensive defenseman, but he was great defensively. He's the best stay at home defenseman and it was hard for opponents to score when he was on the ice. Coffey did have five 100 point seasons, but his defense wasn't as good as the defenseman above considering his 294 +/- rating. Larry was a phenomenal defender and he was as well a great offensive defensman. So, I kind of have a balance of defense and offense on each line.
Marty does have the most shutouts and wins by any other goaltender, but Hasek is a better goaltender. Marty started playing in the NHL at a younger age. If Hasek and Marty would have been playing at the same time, Hasek may be the all-time leader in shutouts in wins. There are some people that consider Roy the greatest. I am not one of those people. He was a great goaltender. A very influential goaltender that started the butterfly technique for goalies. His 151 wins in the playoffs are also the most by any NHL goaltender and also has a 2.30 GAA and is tied with Marty with 23 career shutouts in the playoffs.

wow. u left so many players off there, Beliveau is debatable better then sakic, U also forgot Guy Lefluer, and M.Richard, Gordie Howe, i know u cant have all these guys playing but just some recomendations to swap out, Goalies? WTF? no Roy, Plante, or Brouder? Bure is probly replaceable and Kariya? Madano could b replaced along with Bossy, Mahovlich, and Kurri should be put on a lower line
