Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and beginning April 20th, 2021 (Eastern Time) the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

How can I delete a "Best Answer" to one of my questions?

Someone replied with a racially-denigrating response and voted it Best Answer (I didn't vote for any best answer because they were all mediocre and didn't vote for No Answer).

Yahoo says only to click on the "Report Abuse" link, but if an answer is considered "Best" it no longer has that link (I tried to send feedback but it kept hanging).

I'd imagine at the point it's been marked a 'Best Answer' Yahoo assumes it won't need reporting.

You could try contacting Customer Services directly via Help menus, but there'll be no manual way.

All questions and answers have an abuse report link, best or not. If you've already reported it once, the link will disappear. I just checked, the link is there...

Too late. Please try to pick a Best Answer or report the negative and illegal answers before things go too far.
