Is there any way to block articles from certain news organizations from appearing in Yahoo News?
Specifically the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune and Business Insider, they all use login software which never works and its drives me nuts.
3 AnswersMedia & Journalism5 years agoWhat kind of bananas do they have in the supermarkets in Brazil?
They're a little smaller than the standard Cavendish in the First World and have a square tip but are much sweeter.

1 AnswerEthnic Cuisine6 years agoHow can I get my bank statement from the U.S. notarized in Rio?
I need it to get a Bolivian visa (leaving in a few days), the notary here said he could not notarize website printouts only official documents (but my bank is an online brokerage [Schwab]); I'm already in Brazil and I don't think Schwab has any branch offices in South America.

Germs that cause bad breath obviously
1 AnswerOther - Health8 years agoDo spiders kill or eat ticks?
I live in a wooded area and sometimes have ticks on me when I enter the house…I also see small spiders sometimes and I don't like them but would they kill or eat ticks if they came across them? I'd be willing to leave the spiders alone if there was even the slightest chance they would reduce my risk of contracting Lyme Disease in the slightest…(located southcentral/eastern Pennsylvania).
5 AnswersOther - Environment8 years agoWhy can't I view responses to my comments at Yahoo News?
I get the "Today's Activity on your Posts on Yahoo!" emails but sometimes when I click on "More" underneath the responses to my post the articles appear but no comments are there (and no link to see/expand for comments); what's going on and how do I fix?
2 AnswersOther - Yahoo Products8 years agoHow can I delete a "Best Answer" to one of my questions?
Someone replied with a racially-denigrating response and voted it Best Answer (I didn't vote for any best answer because they were all mediocre and didn't vote for No Answer).
Yahoo says only to click on the "Report Abuse" link, but if an answer is considered "Best" it no longer has that link (I tried to send feedback but it kept hanging).
3 AnswersYahoo Answers9 years agoAre there any good/authentic Szechuanese restaurants in or around Philadelphia?
Not just ones with Szechuan in the name (what are good regional Chinese cuisine restaurants in Philly in general?)
3 AnswersPhiladelphia9 years agoWhy can't small business revenue(s) be decoupled from high-end personal income tax brackets?
Democrats and Republicans seem to be bickering over high-income tax rates, the latter use the argument that it's actually about small businesses which pay income tax as individuals…why can't the IRS create a category for small businesses so that the confusion will no longer exist? (The IRS doesn't have a problem making new regulations, although of course the pseudo-debate would continue on some other topic.)
2 AnswersUnited States9 years agoWhat is best-fitting national sock brand for size 12 feet?
Most sock manufacturers do regular (shoe) size from 7-12, extra-large from like 12-15.
I'm *exactly* a size 12 shoe, is there any (mainstream) brand which follows a different sizing breakdown so I can get socks which aren't either too big or too small? (in both athletic and dress socks, but especially the former).
1 AnswerFashion & Accessories9 years agoIs there a place on the Upper West Side which sells whole wheat and/or gluten-free slices of pizza?
Just slices, not whole pies, as close to 86th and Broadway as possible and open late.
Thanks
1 AnswerNew York City9 years agoCheapest way to get a regular landline to make unlimited overseas calls (from the U.S.)?
My mother currently has a plan with "Birch" which allows her unlimited calling to Europe but costs $76/month, she doesn't know how to use a computer and doesn't want to learn (i.e. no Skype, VoiP, etc.); also she doesn't want to use a cellphone.
Are there any reputable companies with unlimited calling to Europe that cost less?
