Try not using scented litter, and if it has a roof on it take it off. My male cat started peeing everywhere. We changed the litter to nonscented and took the lid off and whammoooo 1 year later he pee's in his box everytime.

Hi there,
General rule of thumb is the number of cats you have, plus one, is the number of litter trays you should have available. So get another one and put it in a completely different place.
Cats are very polite and like to be in a private place so make sure it is in a quiet area.
Try taking the top off and try different litter.
Also make sure that it is poop and not hairballs as some people do confuse the two.

There is a bigger question here: why was your cats litter on the table? I'm assuming nobody uses that table for anything else.
