What could I trade my 97 Honda Civic ex for?

Hello I have a 97 Honda Civic Ex 5 speed with 145,000 miles.

Im looking to trade the car via craigslist( please no lectures, i have purchased cars from CL before).

My question is what could I evenly trade it for?

Im looking for something very similar(sporty)

What could I get what has about the same value of my civic(ex nissan 200sx, etc)

Note:

The civic is in great shape, very clean inside and out. No problems what so ever, The car has an intake, headers(just to bring out the sound of the motor) and is slightly lowered for a nice stance(just for the look).

Just thought id ask just to see what I could possibly get.

I appreciate your time

Thank you.

(please no wise asses, be mature, NO LECTURES im not a child)

Update:

Im looking for a car similar to the civic. Sporty, Quick, fun to drive, Okay on gas, just not Honda or Acura.

Could be japanese, American, or European

I4, V6, I6, V8. Doesnt matter

Update 2:

As for condition of the car im looking for, dont worry about that. Well kept cars are out there you just have to search for them. It took me a few weeks to find this 97 civic in such a nice condition but it can be done. I just need to know what I could possibly get.

(I appreciate your concerns)

Your Civic is worth about $2500 max, so anything comparable.

A 200 SX sounds reasonable, but finding one that in the same condition you claim yours to be in is going to be tough.

There isn't much out there that would be better than a Civic.

I wouldn't even touch an older Mitsubishi Eclipse, Dodge Stratus, Pontiac Grand Am, Mercury Cougar or Ford Focus.

    thinking -

early 90's Mustang GT - would have to inspect it cuz they can be garbage is not properly maintained.

late 90's Cadillac DeVille - again, reliability could be a concern.

    90's Honda Del Sol

    90's Mazda Miata

    90's Acura Integra

    90's Jeep Cherokee

You recognize to be honest with you I looked at each cars cautiously and appreciated the ninety seven variety a lot better. I would as an alternative have your 97 and three grand than the 03 is there whatever on the inner on his that you just like better than yours ? Supply me a intent to want to eat three grand and emerge as with a automobile only a few years more recent that's not as stylin on the grounds that I dont see it. I dont know how you fell about it but i've a feeling your nonetheless using the fence for good rationale due to the fact your 97 is a more stylish ride.Just right success with what ever you make a decision to do.

Really depends on what you are looking for another civic or import? Why not sell the car out right and add that to the rest of whatever money you have and buy something nice. Its going to be hard to find a 16 yro old car like yours in good shape unless the owner has taken really good car of it or restored it.

Upgrade to a BMW 3 series or an Audi A4. Finding them is easy and you shouldn't have any trouble locating a good car in your price range.

I really like the BMW, good looking car, solid engine, excellent handling characteristics and a well built car all the way around.

    Real driver's cars.
