Do you like old school bugs with an exterior windshield visors?

I have a 1967 VW Bug that is an all original barn find. I rebuilt her over the last year and am driving her daily. I picked up an old EMPI windshield visor over the weekend but can not decide if I want to install it. It would require drilling holes in the roof (#8 screws) to mount it. I am not against drilling the holes because I have not finished the body work yet and tiny holes are easy enough to weld up and smooth. My car is pictured in my avatar. It is an original baby blue bug and is covered in patina (surface rust and sun baked paint). The visor is painted doo doo brown and matches the hood, more or less. So, what are your thoughts about installing a sun visor visor? The bug is not lowered. It is stock height with tiny off road tires. Eventually, I will slam it.

Thanks

I think 67 was the best year ever, with the 12 volt system, 1500 engine, normal seats, and nice bumpers.

The exterior windshield visor would be good in a hot climate.

But I don't think it would look right in a cold climate.
