How do I put weight on my horse?

I have a OTTB mare and i feed her a lot, i give her maxisoy and that helps put weight on her, but if i giver her too much she gets colic so i had to cut it down, now she is dropping weight again, i found this feed called weight-lifter in my local feed shop and am using that, mixed with extra chaff and maxisoy. Is there anything else i could add to her feed, preferably natural, like vegetable oil and sunflower seeds (they are the only ones i know about) any suggestions would be great, i hate seeing her ribs. Also she lives in a big good quality paddock and gets plenty of hay every day

Update:

She is wormed regularly, and with a different wormer each time, her last dose was about 10 days ago. I have had her teeth done. She gets at least 3 biscuits of grassy lucerne a day (prime lucerne gives her diarrhea) and the paddock is full of buffel and flinders grass, we have had regular rain for the last 6 months, i always see her grazing, if you need to know anything else just ask :)

What else do you have her on? What kind of grain and what kind of hay? That will make a difference. As for a weight builder, I have found that beet pulp (soaked) works extremely well.

Step one is to deworm her. Something that gets tapeworms as well, like Quest Plus or Eqvalan Gold.
