Shoes for a half-marathon?

Im a 14 year old boy, 5k PR is 18:53, 2 mile PR is 11:35, im aiming for a sub-1:30 half marathon. Ive been training 40-50 miles a week, my question is, can i wear racing flats for the half? Or will my heavier training shoes be a better decision?

You shouldn't be wearing racing flats for any long distance running what so ever. Even in training.

Your joints will be killing you throughout the race.
