Why does Glenn Beck want to "double down"?
I thought the tea party movement WAS a doubling down of the far right Rush Limbaugh style conservatism. It failed, then they tried to abandon the Tea party for this election and still lost in a landslide in a very winnable elections for republicans. Why would you want to double down on beliefs which have been rejected by the electorate multiple times, and are growing more marginalized day by day as older white men die off?

tea party started off as a libertarian movement. then neocons took it over and made it the extreme moron wing of the GOP.

Glenn Beck is completely barking mad. There's definitely a kangaroo loose in the upstairs paddock with that one....
...he's zipped up the back, the elevator is working but it's not getting to the top floor, the lights are on but nobody is home, and somebody has been shifting the furniture around in the attic.
His grasp on reality tenuous in the extreme.
