Why are there so many small minded, juvenile trolls on here that can't seem to?

do anything besides make fun of things they know nothing about? I'm sick and tired of all the sacrilegious Mormon mockery that goes on here. Why do you sick individuals think it is important for you to mock that which you know nothing about and obviously do not respect. Have you not heard of religious tolerance and the doctrine of loving your neighbor as yourself? Perhaps your religious training did not include the golden rule.

Enlighten me if you can?

Korihor's teachings reign supreme. Relativism is their god. Civility has fallen along with all the other principles and commandments. There must needs be a whole lot of repentance - and unfortunately, society is reaching the point where yes, we can visualize a city/people/world rejoice at the death of 2 prophets... how many more times with the Lord reach out to His children and be mocked and ridiculed? they are not yet stoning the prophets - merely ridiculing them... i shudder to ponder how much worse things can get...

    best wishes

Loving one's neighbor as oneself includes rebuking others for false doctrine. But I do agree, mocking is not the way to go about it. Again, religious tolerance only means refraining from force / or forcing my views upon others. It does not mean that I cannot reason and attempt to persuade you that your viewpoint is mistaken.

It seems by your comments that you might be mormon, which is why you ask you r question to begin with. The bible teaches that man at his best is depraved, and incapable of good. Which of course is the reason we need the sacrifice of Jesus to be made righteous before God. So small mindedness and juvenile mockery is the natural response of man to all things spiritual and/or mysterious.

Indeed. Here's an email I just received from "kiggster". I don't even know what prompted it:

"your country is a hole. decadent and degenerate society. terrible, nasty leadership. racist, antisemitic, homophobic, islamophobic, xenophobic... you've got it all. you're the european champions of nastiness. good on you. ps if ur ever in the ottawa metro area let me know so i can rape u. i'm in tampa for the next 2 weeks tho so if ur down during this time period, go there instead."

    Nice, eh?

i remember this question, didnt know it was from you, or is it? i think im being blocked from seeing your questions altogether. are you still posting?

trolls are terrible people, just like hackers, they become a nuicance to liberty on the internet, yet i would still put up with them rather than have a federal government excice taxes to support a nazi like regime over the internet or to be like china who takes away the right to free speech if you make one mistake against their ever changing policies. keep the internet Free: from taxes and ever binding policies that actually censore freedom of religion and speech.

Well, I'm not a small minded juvenile troll, but why in the world should I respect your absurd beliefs?

Believing in a 2000 year old religion is one thing. Being duped by a 150 year old religion is something else. We KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that Mormonism is a fraud. Please explain to us the Book of Abraham....

It is unchristian to mock another's religious beliefs, no matter what the facts are. May I offer some advice? Don't encourage them by answering (concluding you are LDS?)

Do they say worse things than Mormonism being an abomination and corrupt, to use the words Joseph Smith ascribed to God? Was God a juvenile troll too?

"My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)--and which I should join.

"I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: "they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof."

"He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time."

It used to be that if you mouthed off, you got your face smacked. But now these cretins can hid in their closet with a computer and run off at the mouth all they want, with no one to do anything about it.

Welcome to the Internet. You will find the best and the worst out here.

  • People are going to mock religion...just be glad you aren't being crucified for preaching. Be strong enough to carry your beliefs through the torment... Isn't that what faith is?
