Does this sound like a bad idea (Guns plus Beer)?

So I'm thinking of open-carrying at the lake but there will be alcoholic beverages but I myself have never drank and won't be doing so at the lake. My friends tho will be.. Is there any possibility that I will get into trouble.

AR is a open-carry state too.

    Bad idea. You won't get into trouble, however, anytime someone in your group mixes guns and alcohol, safety should be your concern.
