It's just a case of teaching baby the difference between night and day. Your already doing all the right things to teach baby this but it can take a few weeks for them to realise. Just keep up the good work and baby should work it out soon enough. Congratulations and enjoy

Not alot you can do, hes to young, its just what a baby do, just carry on what your doing and he will eventually get the idea, but its not a quick think
my 4 week old has been ill, meaning he wont sleep more than half hour at a time, otherwise at night he tends to sleep for 3 hours an wakes for a feed then 3 hours, I have to be up at half 7 with a hyper 3 year old for nursery so I know how you feel
sleep when you can, an im pretty much living off little sleep, pro plus tablets an energy drinks lol

If you go to sleep when the babies do and sleep until they wake up, you can probably get 6 or more hours of broken sleep. It is not ideal, but it is not "no sleep".. Other than adjusting your own scheduled, there is not a lot you can do outside of what you are already doing.. Your baby is just a week old, and it is unrealistic to expect him to know day from night. That's part of what you sign on for as a parent.

This is what newborn's do. It doesn't matter what time he was born. He will eventually adjust and this is just part of having a baby, didn't anyone tell you that?

You can't. That's what babies do. I don't mean to sound rude but what on earth did you expect?
