Why is Boehner offering Romney's budget plan as his sequestration fix negotiation with the Senate?
Voters pretty much rejected that "tax-cuts and deduction elimination" yesterday at the polls.

Dead-enders refuse to face reality.
I think Boener is counting on a predictable amount of weakness/capitulation from Obama like during his first term, let's hope Boener has greatly miscalculated Obama's resolve to finally move past a recalcitrant GOP and move job formation forward with or without the prehistoric GOP anti-American worker party.

Fine if he wants to use that as the starting point, so long as he's willing to compromise. The Dems will give the Republicans some of what they want but the House GOP needs to prove they can govern responsibly and give just as much. The kind of brinksmanship where the party that is most willing to risk economic collapse to get their way is rewarded needs to end.
The Republicans retained the House, but a large part of that was just because they weren't defending many seats in this election and most GOP seats that were up for grabs were in deep red districts. That they went from a landslide in 2010 to their dismal showing yesterday in the Senate and Presidential races shows that Tea Party obstructionism has not impressed anyone (outside of the Tea Party activists themselves).

Romney had a budget plan, who knew? If Romney had a plan he kept it a secret. Boehner's days, as the head tea bagger in congress, are numbered and he knows it. He had his chance and he chose to play politics with the lives of the people. He gambled and lost so now he will be forever known as the worse speaker in history that took a pay off from the Koch brothers on national television..
