Do you think I could be a model?
I what so ever DO NOT want attention. But do you think I could make it if I really believe I can? I'm in high school a bit over weight but plan losing 20lbs. I have short hair but will grow it out.

I'm not saying it would be my career yet but I would like to explore things & what I enjoy doing because, I know it could be hard or easy I'm not sure of that. That's why I need your opinion

Hi sweetie, I'm going to assume you're in America from the lbs and try and adjust my terms to match. You're certainly a really beautiful girl (gorgeous) but as a heads up, there are certain measurements a model really needs to have. What is really the most important is height. If you're looking to be a fashion model (as seen in Vogue etc.) you must be at least 174cm tall. Dress size needs to be between approx. 0-2 (maybe 4) and long hair is generally preferred. Waist of around 26 inches (give or take one), hips no more than 36.5 and a bust size of a C at most (not reeeaally a minimum). As you can see, very strict. This is for FASHION modelling, mind.
Commercial modelling has a much wider range of measurements, hair styles, height etc. and generally just requires a beautiful girl with charm and an amazing smile.
Just some basic info if you're thinking of getting in to modelling. Also, it's EXTREMELY hard work, going days without sleep or with little, working with cruel comments and the under extreme pressure of thousands staring at you. I've had friends with their feet cut to pieces by shoes and still having to smile and wave. There is also VERY LITTLE MONEY to be made in modelling, most models have part time jobs. However, it's also a lot of fun. You can meet amazing people from all around the globe, see gorgeous sights and experience things you never would get to otherwise.
If you want it, GO FOR IT! :D

You are absolutely beautiful. There are many different types of models. Designers and agencies all have different desires. With designers it is something they are personally particular looking for like a muse or a girl they could see relates to girls around the world. Not all are the same. There is also different types of agencies. Give it a go if it is something you want to explore. do anything that makes you happy, never give up on your dreams.

just so you know models aren't role models. in reality, they are not that beautiful. I mean they are beautiful, but just in an ordinary, everyday way. I don't think you should strive to be a model. Just know you are good-looking and do something worthwhile. live your life.
