What do you think he likes me?

I kind of have a crush on a guy that sits with me during Spanish and also goes to PE with me and I don't know what my first step should be!? After PE we set down at Spanish for a while and then I said "I think you are very good at soccer." in sort of a harsh almost like a whisper but I felt that he was sorta shocked about my voice more then what I said. He actually chats with me more than with other girls.
