If Bush didnt go to Iraq would he have been a decent president?

Bush is better than Obama,

Then again, my dog could be better president than Obama.

He was a great president, much much better than what we have now, remember Iraq was about containing terrorism and also to strategically place our troops in an area where if Iran or any other axis nation stepped out of line we would be right there. But under Bush we had the second lowest unemployment rate in history as well as a growing economy unlike today. 8% unemployment and growing, only 1% growth and no budget. Also Pres. Bush asked congress 17 times to stop the toxic loans flooding the housing market and weakening the economy. Now who was the head of these committees Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, Two Democrats that lead us down the path we are on now, and who was there to take the highest payout from these toxic loans? It was Sen. Barack Hussein Obama. So for those that say Bush is the cause of our currant problems and that is what Obama Inherited, think again Obama Inherited his own mess. Do the research and find for yourself.

No. Iraq was a military and an economic disaster. Afghanistan was an economic disaster.

If he had:

-not gone to Iraq

-passed a war tax to fund Afghanistan

-passed a tax to fund Part D

-not passed the tax cut giveaways until he funded them or we were running surpluses

he would have be at least average+. As is, he was/is the worst ever.

No!! Then he would of been a bad President for not going to war with iraq and getting saddam!! Look at who's taking credit for getting bin laden!!!!!

To have been a decent president, he'd have had to start by being a decent human being and not a spoiled immature brat.
