Do you think the House republican plan to cut taxes (yet again) will help cure the deficit?

According to House Speaker Boehner - you plan to cut taxes. This is the highest ranking Republican.

    No matter the problem, the answer is always tax cuts.

    In 2000 and faced with budget surplus projections, the republicans ran on the idea of tax cuts because "it's your money after all." Which of course erased the surplus as planned. When the economy started to go south, the republicans ran on the idea of tax cuts to stimulate the economy.

    The Bush tax cuts are not paid for they add to the deficit so yes they will help stop the increase.

    Tax increases are just symbolic and cannot do more than 1% of what we need. Would that you people only spoke of the 1% of the time.

    They have very little choice. Tea Party extremism has been blamed for the presidential loss. If they do not change and hurt the middle class, when in two years when they run again, we will tell them where to go.

    MSNBC said that, with it's liberal bias. Fox News is the only fair and balanced news out there. And lower taxes creates jobs and reduces the deficit. Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh agree.
