Poll: fave female artist out of these?

Out of them I'd say Adele, Gaga and Marina have the strongest voices. Check out Marina and the Diamonds acoustic songs (particularly "Lies") as proof of her voice, Adele's is obvious and there are some videos of Lady Gaga singing with just a piano and her voice is also phenomenal.

Lana Del Ray always sounds bored and annoying, Cher Lloyd has annoying lyrics and singing style (although she actually has a great voice!), Taylor Swift is irritating and just sings about boys. I don't really heard much Kesha but she has a money sign in her actual name and sounds very stuck up and Katy Perry has great boobs but otherwise is annoying

But music wise the only one I like is Marina and the Diamonds.

I love Gaga and Marina

Lana can occasionally be tolerable

And I basically hate the rest, lol.

Hate to say it, but they do all suck.

If I had to pick one, it would be Cher Lloyd. She's kinda fun even if her songs are terrible.

For modern pop female artists I'd pick M.I.A. or Bat for Lashes or Jessie J or Grimes.

I really don't like any of them. I tolerate Adele, and I respect for her. She writes her own music from her heart (when I say that, her songs are meaningful and emotional instead of just "I'm gonna get drunk and have sex"), and she uses real instruments and she can actually sing. Her voice doesn't need autotune like the others.

But still, I don't like most of them.

I only like Lady Gaga from that list.

Katy Perry. She's not boring to the core and she's not too extreme.

Yeah ...they all suck...you never heard of Janis Joplin?
