Help me pick a topic for my research paper?
I'm a freshmen in college and for my final in one class I have to write a research paper. I can pick any topic in history that fits under the theme War and Peace. The teacher is real big about picking something that really interests us. Problem is I never liked history and I'm drawing a huge blank. I'm thinking it would be neat to do it over some kind of cultural revolution or peace movement. Just, y'know, something interesting, preferably within the last 20 years. Anybody got any ideas?

The Watts Riots might interest you, or the anti-Vietnam war movement might better fit the topic.
