So I Rescued This Squirrel who Frequents my Yard...?
Found Mr. Squirrel sitting on the road, dazed and in shock after being hit by a car. Looks like he ran into the wheel, had some blood in his ear and coming out of his nose. Leg is probably broke/fractured, but not so badly where it is bent back or lacerated.
Made him a soft bed in my garage and sat there with him a few hours so he wouldn't have to die alone. Somehow, he is still alive and sleeping now 12 hours after the accident. I've set out a plate of water which he's been drinking from, as well as some fresh beans and ferret food.
Is there anything else I can feed him? Not sure what to give him in his condition...he has been pooping so his digestive system is working, and he's stopped hemorrhaging (might have been broken nose) as the bleeding has stopped. Sound asleep since 8, curled up in a blanket.
Never cared for a squirrel, but he's been meddling in my yard for years and I kinda like the little guy...any advice in increasing his chance of survival would be greatly appreciated (no, I can't afford a vet bill).

Put it back outside or surrender it to a wild life rehab center. Vets won't touch wild animals do to all the diseases and parsties they care and you shouldn't be touching it either
Its a wild animal, you touching and handling all over it didn't do it any favors and put it into shock. Put it back outside where it belongs.

even as your different dogs would have respected the fence there's no make sure that the hot dogs does not take the marvel and flow top by the fence if the temptation replaced into large sufficient. also an underground fence delivers actually no safe practices from predators (human and animal) for the dogs. in case you want a dogs from a rescue crew why not construct or purchase achieveable-free dogs run. That way the dogs might want to have achieveable-free position to stay yet might want to nevertheless be boundary educated to the underground fence and characteristic more desirable freedom once you're outdoors with it and would heavily supervise the dogs (once you benefit a 100 and ten% sturdy remember that's).
