Are there any conservative Christians who don't contradtict these points?
You don't want a secular government, but feel it's okay for the law of the church to tell other people what to do.
You claim to be 'pro-life' but support the death penalty.
You support abstinence over contraceptives, but frown on abortions.
You want these unfit parents to have these children they cannot support, but cut federal spending on welfare.
I just don't get it at all...the entire right wing conservative republican drive a lot of Christians stand behind seems contradicting on so many levels.

5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoSo I Rescued This Squirrel who Frequents my Yard...?
Found Mr. Squirrel sitting on the road, dazed and in shock after being hit by a car. Looks like he ran into the wheel, had some blood in his ear and coming out of his nose. Leg is probably broke/fractured, but not so badly where it is bent back or lacerated.
Made him a soft bed in my garage and sat there with him a few hours so he wouldn't have to die alone. Somehow, he is still alive and sleeping now 12 hours after the accident. I've set out a plate of water which he's been drinking from, as well as some fresh beans and ferret food.
Is there anything else I can feed him? Not sure what to give him in his condition...he has been pooping so his digestive system is working, and he's stopped hemorrhaging (might have been broken nose) as the bleeding has stopped. Sound asleep since 8, curled up in a blanket.
Never cared for a squirrel, but he's been meddling in my yard for years and I kinda like the little guy...any advice in increasing his chance of survival would be greatly appreciated (no, I can't afford a vet bill).
2 AnswersOther - Pets9 years agotheists or atheists, have you ever been in this situation?
working for an evangelical, she holds her faith above employee benefits or raises since she thinks god will bless us if we deserve so.
as an atheist, with my good friend being gay who also works with me...we are constantly separated from the possibility of advancing further in our careers. problem is, the market for graphic designers in ohio is nil (been looking for years).
has anyone been in this situation before, where you have had to bite your tongue so much it hurts? if so, how did you work past it or resolve conflict when constantly being bombarded with christian customers getting such crazy discounts that would equal a 1.00/hr pay raise for a year without the slightest 'thanks for your hard work' in return?
at a breaking point after 3 years, and with a decent job so hard to come by (own house/cats/ferrets/car) is it worth just sucking it up until something else comes around?
would like some feedback from christians or atheists who have been in this situation, all opinions valued.
