How do I factorize x(a+b)+x(a+c)?

I just need to factorize the problem. I can factorize say 2(a+b)^2+2(a+b) but when the values in the parantheses are different I just freeze up.

Thanks in advance.

Think of the (x)'s as the values in parentheses and the other bits as the coefficients.

    (a+b)(x) + (a+c)(x)

    = [(a+b) + (a+c)](x)

    = (a+b+a+c)(x)

    = (2a+b+c)(x)
