I would go for Halo 4 because it scored a 9.8/10 by ign.com and it also scored a 10/10 by machinima the very first Halo game to score a 10/10. Halo 4 is a great game you won't be disappointed at it. It's also one of the best games of 2012 and one of the most anticipated games of 2012.

There is no such thing as a BETTER game, there is only a PREFFERED game.
It all depends on what the player wants.
1. Sci-Fi?
2. A bit on the real side?
Are they fond of lasers and what not? Or are they a fan of bullets.
Obviously for narrowminded fanboys, they will fight to the death defending each.
I dont like Halo but that doesnt mean that it sucks. Im not a fan of lasers and aliens and unexplored planets and solar systems.
Halo has a good coop system
Both have stellar graphics
Halo doesnt have zombies
so it all boils down to what you want?
