If you were in this situation what would you do with your time left.?

I have been expecting this bad news for some time. Yesterday the doctors at Johns Hopkins gave me the news that I am no longer responding to the medications nor do I qualify for a heart transplant. There are more details on the prognosis but I don't want to go into them now.

However the cardiologists and the heart surgeon team concluded the I may have 4 to 8 weeks to live. They said from here on out I will get weaker and eventually have to use a wheel chair to get around.

I am already on 4 liters of oxygen just to stay alive. But let me tell you this is not living, it just existing.

I have no fear of dying because I believe in God and Jesus. I have taken that trip 3 times in the past 2 years but was able to be zapped back. Not a very enjoyable thing. So I signed a do not resuscitate order.. My question to you:

If you were in this situation what would you do with your time left.?

See your children and grandchildren, see your friends, and tell them all that you love them. Especially your wife. Settle your affairs.

enjoy each and every minute that you have. appreciate the little things. and over use the words I love you. im so sorry! You'll be going to a better place. may i ask why you dont qualify for a transplant?

Source(s): great grandma, grandma, mom, daughter, and possibly myself have some sort of heart condition.
