Are columbia jackets warm?

Yes! I have a fleece one from Columbia and it keeps me warm thought the winter! Better than North Face.

I don't know anything about the insulation in the jacket. seems to be a columbia product, which i've never been a fan of. they have, in the past, been more of a price point product for the masses, which generally sacrifices some features in the name of the price point. This jacket seems to have the features, snow skirt, pit zips, sealed seams, waterproof (doesn't say to what degree) considering its about half the price of a north face you should be ok, but i would definitely look into that insulation to see how its been rated as far as warmth goes.

Yes! I live in Virginia and it gets cold here in the winter, and it's the jacket that I wear most of the time. It's extremely warm and comfortable, and cute! :D

They are super warm! But beware they seem über fuzzy but if yo wash it a couple times the fuzzy becomes more rough.
