Whey are christians so up in arms about gay marriage when their silly church ceremony means diddly-squat in _?

I am a Christian and I do not care if two adults decide to get married. Please stop thinking that all Christians think alike. It is offensive to me.

We believe that marriage is much more than a civil union between two people, but rather a covenant made before God. With that in mind, we also believe that homosexuality is a sin because it is explicitly stated in the Bible (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:26-27). Therefore, we believe that God designed and has reserved marriage exclusively for heterosexual relationships (Genesis 2:22-24). While it is true that there should be separation of church and state, it breaks our hearts to know that we live in a sinful nation where homosexuality is becoming an acceptable life choice. We believe, as it says in 1 Corinthians, that these people will not enter the kingdom of God. Everyone has their own reasons for voting the way they do. Many Christians vote based on their belief in the truth of the Bible. We are not mixing church and state, we are voting based on what we believe is right.

Haha its funny because Christians don't have to use their brain to make their own decisions!
