Why do people crush adderall?
I take adderall for school purposes and yes i'm perscribed. But I heard people talking telling me to crush up 2 30's into powder then put it in a class of lemonade or energy drink and i'll get a major buzz? is this true?

People that crush them up are looking for a stimulant hit. The beads in XR (or whole tablet in regular adderral) dissolve more slowly in the body, increasing their length of action. By crushing them, all the medicine is released at once, and the person will experience a stronger effect in a shorter amount of time. Adderrall is amphetamine, btw, and is ONE CRAZY WAY of treating an "illness"...

because stupid kids like to get high.
it is very dangerous and can kill you if you crush your drugs and play around like that.
sometimes they take them because they think it will help them do better in school because there is a myth out there that adhd meds can somehow boost your study skills.
but you and i both know that's bullshit right?
