Call social services and if they can't help, then you need to call the police. I know this sounds terrible, and that's the last thing you want to do to your own child but we're talking about an unborn child.

She needs to understand that the use of alcohol while pregnant can result in fetal alcohol syndrome for the baby and it can be mentally retarded or learning disabled for life. It also can result in odd facial defects that will cause it to be miserable from the taunting of other children. Drugs will cause he to lose custody of the child when it is born. her medical provider should be talking to her about these things. You can inform him of what she is doing if she is in your care and under 18. If she is over 18, the social workers where she delivers will probably be calling you.

Try to talk to her about it and get her to stop drinking. You can try to explain to her how messed up her baby will be if she does not stop, and that if she is not going to stop she might as well get an abortion instead of ruining the kids life, and future. If she does not listen to you and keeps drinking tell her you will take the baby when it is born and until she gets her act together you wont let her ruin it's life.

    sorry if i rambled.
