Why do people still trust Fox News after they lied and said Romney would win election in landslide?
Before the election my brother in-law that is a Republican and watches Fox News was claiming all the polls showing Obama was going to win were totally wrong and that Romney was really up and was going to win in a landslide because Fox News said so. Now a week later he's all butt hurt because Fox news lied to him. Why do people continue to watching and believe in Fox news after all the lies ?? Do Fox News viewers liked being lied to ??

They still trust Fox because Fox is one-sided and Fox made republicans feel better about the election. So Fox is making them "feel" better post election. They lied because they wanted him to win so badly. Therefore, everything romney or fox says, republicans take as Gospel and believe. Its pretty pathetic lol.

There were no lies or cheating, it can be a constant election like every single one given that J.F.Ok. The rulers of the country knew who they desired, Obama (a different 2 time period puppet/ president), then made a show for the morons of the U.S. To observe. Elections are nothing more than amusement for the ignorant. Little bit of recommendation, be trained the best way to write a proper sentence child...

The probable reason is the fact that fox news focused on there main demographic which is an older white crowd. They probably refused to take into account as much young people and minorities which had a much greater voter turn out than in 2008. If it was just an older white demographic voting then Romney would have won in a landslide. But that would be like measuring force but only factoring mass not acceleration.

Fox News never predicted that Romney would win in a landslide,or that he would win at all. One of its guests (I think it was Bernie Goldberg) predicted that outcome and admitted that he had to eat crow after the election.
Fox is obviously a conservative organization, but it doesn't lie or even promote political candidates. But Fox, like almost all other stations, has guests on who do predict election results.
You should watch Fox once in a while, including Bill O'Reilly, and see if there is any spin or favoritism in its reporting. I think Fox is, as it says, "fair and balanced."

I don't pretend to understand the minds of people who take Fox News, Rush and Beck at face value. It certainly does seem unlike the right wing, which usually whips up and manipulates its supporters with fear, uncertainty and doubt, to adopt such a cocksure attitude. I wonder how many Romney supporters heard the election was in the bag and didn't bother voting?

I would trust fox over the others, but then again, I do my own research. Takes a little longer, but if you listen to cnn and others Obama can do no wrong. He is their new God. So many people just stayed home as there was no one to vote for. I have found CNN to distort a lot of things or just plain ignore them if it made the democrats look bad. Maybe they thought people were smarter than that, but no one wanted Romney either.

Only Dick Morris was making those bold predictions. Karl Rove said 271 electoral votes for Romney which was not a landslide considering it was only 1 over the necessary amount. Republicans thought they would win Florida, Virginia, Ohio, and Colorado and they lost all of them only picking up one battleground state, North Carolina. Most Fox commentators said it would be close, but apparently more Obama voters showed up than did Romney voters. All the polls underestimated the Obama turnout and overestimated the Romney turnout. All the networks were saying it would be closer that it turned out to be.
