Yes, it is. Not only can you buy supplements to help this, you can also start by eating 6 healthy, small meals a day.

    Example:

    Breakfast - egg whites

    (2hr later) grapefruit

    Lunch (2hr later) tuna

    Snack(2hr later) protein shake

Dinner (2hr later) chicken and lettuce

The more you eat, the faster it gets. Just make sure its HEALTHY

Metabolism is a genetically derived train; however, you can assist your metabolism greatly by altering your diet towards a more healthy lifestyle, thus, your metabolism will be able to function more efficiently.

I don't believe so...But you can take certain supplements to compensate for a low metabolism.

Yeah. Try to not keep your stomach without food for to long. I know this probably sounds counter-intuitive but if you eat small snacks like every 2 - 3 hours then your body is going to keep going and your metabolism is going increase.
