Is the U.S. media and press corps simply useful idiots?

As far as Journalism goes, they're useless. They don't do their job, but instead, cover up for the most corrupt administration in U.S. history

Are they merely useful idiots for the progressive agenda? Keeping the public in the dark, intentionally?

Update:

Well, can we count how many scandals these guys have helped this administration cover up?

Fast and Furious

Libya...(Really 3 scandals here... What were they doing there? What happened on 9/11? And the obvious cover-up attempt)

Running guns to Al-Queda groups in both Libya and now Syria

Illegally getting involved, militarily, in Libya

Illegally ignoring court orders to stop the oil drilling moratorium in the gulf

Violating the constitution, time and time again, through policies to enact Obama's on dream act.

The most corrupt DOJ in history, picking and choosing the laws they will enforce

Using government agencies to attack and harass ordinary citizens and U.S. companies who won't play ball with them

And the list goes on and on

Obama operates like a 3rd world dictator; stealing elections, lying through his teeth, manipulating the press, intimidating the press and business community

    No, they're not useful idiots. They're full, willing, knowledgable partners in the progressive agenda. Callling them useful idiots excuses their complicity in lying to the American people to advance their leftist ideals.

    That's the kind of horseshit people who listen to right wing radio hosts like to spew. It has no basis in fact, but that doesn't prevent people from repeating it anyway.
