why all of a sudden is my avatar different?

my larger avatar doesn't match the little one in the top left hand corner --- any clues ?

    It was that way for all of us for a couple of days. Their back now. On one screen I had a green one, on another page I had a purple one. It happened when the maintenance was finished. Just a glitch.

    I noticed it earlier today. My avatar on My Activity & Yahoo homepage are as they should be but in top left corner & on email page I have a blue exclamation mark.

    I guess the scheduled maintenance did something or else it's just another glitch.
