Pizza hut Job interview?

I've never had a job interview before and I've got one at 4 on Tuesday for Pizza hut.

I was just wondering what sort of questions they might ask and anything in particular i should do/bring/wear.

Thanks

First "Dress for Success" - black dress pant, long sleeve white shirt, black belt and black shoes (no sneakers or jeans)

Second: "Read their website to determine i.e. how long company in business, # of locations, do they offer any customer discount cards, types of pizza and your favorite, community involvement so you can answer questions "What you know about us? or Why you want to work for us?

Third: Bring ID -Social Security Card, School ID etc.

Below are a few interview experiences shared by people who applied at Pizza Hut. Good Luck!1

Team Member at Pizza Hut Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Kalamazoo, MI Oct 2012–

Interview Details –They usually start you out as a host, and move you up to a server or driver when there's room and when you're ready. In that way it's a nice place to work because you make good tips and there's no pressure. After applying I got a call for an interview a few days later. I interviewed with Whitney and another manager and I got stuck and some questions that I should've been prepared for but for the most part the interview was pretty relaxed. They said that if I didn't call by the end of the week to call them back because it could easily be that they just forgot to due to being busy.

Interview Questions-• Tell me about yourself. ?• Why did you move out here? • Think back to your last restaurant experience. How was your customer service experience and what did you notice about the server? • Name three weaknesses with detail? If a customer comes with a problem that they received wrong food . what will you do for that ? (answer: Apology for the mistake make the right food for the customer, offer something as complimentary or discount next time order then after finish the food ask satisfaction about food or service because customer feel happy.)

Server at Pizza Hut Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Valley, AL Jun 2012–

Interview Details –. I arrived at Pizza Hut five minutes early and the manager asked me right away if I was there for an interview. She asked me to sit down in a booth and wait for her to get my application. She offered me a drink while I was waiting. She was super friendly and asked me pretty easy questions. Common sense stuff really. After the interview I filled out a few papers and she hired me on the spot. She asked if I could start next week and gave me a Pizza Hut employee shirt. I'll have to get black slacks and black slip-resistant shoes by next week. She also asked me for my social security card and driver's license so bring those. You will also need a void check so they can pay you direct deposit or something like that.

    Interview Questions

    • Describe a time you received excellent service at a restaurant? ( I told the manager about a time I was at Longhorn's and the server accidentally spilled tea on my friend and me, soaking her graduation dress and dampening mine a little bit. The server offered us both free desserts. I thought the desserts (HUGE DESSERTS) more than made up for the small spill I suffered

    • Describe a time you were discouraged and what you did to overcome it? ( I told the manager about the time I took Calculus, a college level math course in high school. I wasn't even good at math. I coped by seeing the humor in the situation (I made worse grades when I studied) and by believing the situation could only get better as I put more effort into the class.)

    • Have you been in a situation where you were working with people you didn't know? How did you react and what did that teach you? (Yes, I volunteered at Relay for Life and I didn't know anyone at the booth I was working. Luckily we were all working for a common cause so that was conversation fodder in itself. As we all let loose and joked a little I felt more comfortable. I realized it's alright to put yourself out there; people will accept you if you're yourself)

Why do you want to work here? (love the pizza hut brand is a stable company will gain skills and experience most importantly love making a customer happy)

The interviewer will probably ask what jobs you've had before and what your committments were there. I wouldn't worry too much. Pizza Hut is just probably looking for people who will show up on time and do the job properly. Pretty easy once you learn the system there. I've worked for Papa John's before. Similar. Anyway Good Luck! If you're still wondering what you should do bring or wear call them and ask the manager.
