I never much liked "Hurricane" Aside from being monotonous musically, Dylan got a lot of the facts wrong about the Hurricane Carter case, which kind of ruin the song the more you know about the case. It doesn't display any of Dylan's famous wordplay, it's as direct as a news bulletin, albeit one without a factcheck.

I much prefer the very next song on the same album, "Isis", about grave robbing and full of humor. That one is the kind of stuff that makes Dylan great.

MQ: I dunno, too many to choose from, and it depends on mood. I'll say "Narrow Way" from his new album "Tempest", is my favorite Dylan song in 2 decades. And I always have time to listen to "Highway 61", which is when he was *really* funny.

subterranean homesick blues is my fave dylan song. great choice for a friday evening.
