Can some Americans still not support our military after watching this? http://youtu.be/iyXYot6wHuE?

Update:

L&P. I am a Vietnam veteran and remember. I have done my best to forgive but I will never forget. I am just one of the many old men who welcome our returning heroes. Be that at the airport...in town...or anywhere. I have also see the mistreatment of some of these fine men and women. Thankfully it was not as rabid as during my time but any mistreatment is too much.

To all who have served...combat or not...Semper Fidelis. This old man will always have your back ...as I know you will always have mine.

    Thanks Dr Z

I joined this gun club 23 years ago at age 17. 23 years, 4 combat deployments and a total of almost 7 years deployed or stationed overseas later....I still never cease to be amazed and proud when I watch a busload of young men and women leave to deploy....

I joined the military to be around my heroes. And that is the one thing I will miss when I retire. The opportunity to be around my heroes everyday.

DrZ, thanks for this awesome post. In response to your question, it is because they have eyes but cannot see, as you can see in the first answerer's response. He believes that supporting the troops means not actually using them. I wonder how that would work with the Fire or Police Departments in his town, if he applied the same logic to them?

It`s a coincidence you posted this, I just happened to watch it yesterday. There`s a few other good ones out there too. I like this one a lot too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzCow9GDReE&feature...

The way I see it is this: If they didn`t support the military before watching the sad but awesome videos, and hearing the incredible stories of our servicemen and women, they aren`t going to change their mind afterwards, because they`re a little funny in the head if you know what I mean.

    Thanks for serving, Dr. Z.

Those who will not should not be allowed to procreate. They just create more wastes of carbon. But I think every kid in school should read the book Matterhorn by Vietnam combat Veteran Karl Marlantes.

where did these fictional characters come from who don't support the troops?! I'm pretty friggin' liberal and I am very supportive of them. so much so, that I want them all home on safe, US soil.
