Have you ever calculated the adjoint matrix of a 5 by 5 matrix without using a calculator?

I was just doing once for practice, and I didn't get half way even.

    To me, "adjoint" means "Hermitian adjoint", which is just the conjugate transpose. You could write that down without even thinking about it. Just take the transpose and then take the complex conjugate of everything.

    So I guess that's not what you mean.
