Windows 7 theme changing by itself to Windows 7 Basic Theme?

Can someone please help tell my Windows 7 is doing this every once in awhile and its very rarely that this happens but whats happening is the theme is changing from the Windows 7 Aero theme to the Windows 7 Basic theme and when I go into personalization it would show that the Window 7 basic theme is currently set and when I try to switch it back to the Windows 7 Aero theme it doesn't do anything it would do the animation like when you change from one theme to another it and it looks like as if it it didnt even change at all it was still set on the 7 basic theme and I found a simple way to get it to change back and that was by logging out and logging back in again and it would fix it now I know I said its very rarely that this happens and I have simple way of fixing it but I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what to do to keep this from happening again

This happened to me some months ago. There was a problem with the windows activation, so maybe you should check under your system information if ur windows version is activated correctly.

Another way to fix this is using the windows troubleshooters to solve problems with transparency.

You can also try to enable aero manually:

    1. Click "Start", go to run, type "services.msc" and press Enter.

    2. Right click the "Desktop Window Manager Session Manager" service and choose Properties.

    3. On General tab click Start.

    4. Choose Automatic next to Startup type.

    5. Click OK.

You can also try to re-install or update your graphic drivers, because it's possible that they don't work properly anymore

I think there is a task that cannot function in win7 mode so it becomes for like xp so in other words win7 basic. so you need to kill the task that is forcing windows into xp mode.
