Anyone Know Any Effective Studying Methods?

I have some exams coming up. They're not official (GCSE or something) but I want to do well. Any effective study tips?

    The best way I have found to revise is as follows:

    Make a bunch of notes on the whole module. Rewrite these notes but condense them. Keep doing this until the complete notes for the whole module are on one page. This should reinforce the whole module in your brain and when it comes to the exam it will be like you know the subject like the back of your hand.
