We are Pagans, we tend to thank our Gods at just about every family meal... so it's no different on Thanksgiving.

But like you said, even though your family is not specifically religious, it's obviously a meaningful tradition.

I find it odd people still say "grace" in 2012. Not that I'm religous, but I figruered "grace" died down years ago and its simply "prayer"

Tell them you dont want the food to get cold while they are blabing on and on about nonsense or the fact you are greatfull for the people who made the mexicans shoes so he can pick those veggies, and the people who made the tires for the truck that shipped those veggies to the store....
