Seniors. Have you heard on the news?

about the breakthrough made by Cambridge boffins?

Apparently, they have been able to restore some movement to the hind legs of paralysed dogs by injecting them in the rump with cells taken from the lining of their noses.

Will this have the added benefit of enabling a dog to sniff its own bottom then?

    Grumpy, ever see a cat groom their own butt ? They have no collar bone so they are quite well off in the butt cleaning department. I lead a rather dull life, eh ?

    Reminds me of the time two friends were walking down the sidewalk of a large US city, and came upon a large dog licking his bottom.

    One friend nudged the other and said coyly, "don't you wish YOU could do that?"

    "Yeah," said the other, "but don't you think you should pet him first?"

    Haha! You almost had me there.

    But if so ... will they quit sniffing every other dog's bottom, because now they've "found themselves"?
