Which Premier Inn/Travelodge/Holiday Inn are closest to the nightlife in Newcastle?

I'm planning on traveling to Newcastle (from Scotland) for my 18th in January with 6 of my friends obviously for the nightlife and to do some shopping during the day.

We're looking for the cheapest possible hotels but still decent quality/standards - the Travelodge, Premier Inn or Holiday Inn are kind of our price range.

Most of these hotels seem to have a few dotted about the centre of Newcastle but which ones are closest to the nightlife? It's mainly to keep taxis cheap or give us the option to walk places so any help would be much appreciated thank you!

I know this isn't exactly the right category but I know it's a popular one and most people from Newcastle would probably know this, I've also posted it in the Newcastle category too.

    They range from £59 - £79

Jurys Inn is noted to be quite close to the nightlife.

The Travellodge Newcastle central hotel is 2.5 miles away from the city centre and £42.00 for the night for a double room (where you can add a sofa bed for free so 3 people can stay in one room for £42.00. That means for 6 people it will cost £84.00).

This hotel is nice and close to the nightlife:

I would use this website to find the closest premier inn to newcastle, you could also see if there were any other cheap hotels around that area.

I'm not sure which ones are cloest to the towns and stuff, but i think the map on the website should help you. Hope this helps.

    :)

    PS - Have a good 18th birthday!!
