    I'm in no position to assume, since we're all unique, disabled or not. I'm disabled but get about better than most, hold a job and am fortunate to not need help beyond medications to control seizures.

    No They have obstacles to overcome like the rest of us only more so.

    this is on the wrong board given the fact it is the disabled community are post amongst.

    are we being asked if we have any beliefs about living with ourselves?

    am probably one of the worst for snoring here.

    no. you cant assume any one has any disability. not until you get to know them. i've lived with aspergers all my life and found out years ago. none of my friends ever suspected i had it until i had told them so. you can make assumptions all you want, but you wont know the truth until you know the person personally.you cant just prejudge someone from the way they behave. you have to judge them by what you actually know about them. no one is perfect at all. everyone has some sort of flaw (or flaws) in them. maybe physically. maybe psychologically. maybe emotionally. maybe all three. the point is that you can't label someone as something based on your opinions. its all about the facts. period.
