Is it just pay per view? Put on a dvd, or blue ray disc. in order to determine whether it is the tv or cable box. If it works ok with dvd, then call the catv company for a service call. Try changing audio cables.. If your using an HDMI cable, replace it by using composite rca connector cables and switch the tv input to composite.. HDMI cables can generate noise. I much prefer composite... Need to know more about your catv hookup to answer further..
